Deep cleaning or general cleaning?

General cleaning keeps a home in order. A housekeeper vacuums, mops, dusts and wipes down the kitchen and bathroom, and you book by the hour.

Deep cleaning is for one area or item that needs more than a wipe. Our team uses cleaning agents and machines made for the job, such as hot steam for floors and wet extraction for sofas.

If the whole home needs a top-to-bottom clean, book spring cleaning by the size of your home. It covers every room, the inside of the kitchen cabinets, the fridge, hob and oven, the windows and the balcony.

What deep cleaning in Singapore covers

Kitchen appliances

We clean the hood and hob, the oven and grill, and the microwave, inside and out, and remove the carbon. Our cleaning agent is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-corrosive, so it's safe inside an oven or a microwave. You can cook as soon as we finish.

Add the fridge, a chiller, the kitchen sink or a dishwasher if they need it too.

Sofa cleaning

We start with a check of the sofa's condition and a dry vacuum. Then we take off any removable covers and spray a detergent to loosen the stains. A wet extraction machine cleans deep into the fabric and pulls out the dirty water.

Allow four to six hours for the sofa to dry. We clean most fabric sofas and some other upholstery, depending on the material. Book by size, from a one-seater to an L-shape or a complete set, and add a steam package for one piece or the whole set.

Mattress cleaning

Each mattress gets a complete dry clean and steam cleaning, which help remove dust, dirt and bacteria. Single, super single, queen and king mattresses can all be booked, more than one of each.

According to NHG Health, dust mites live in mattresses, upholstered furniture and curtains. They thrive in Singapore's warm, humid weather all year round.

Toilets

A toilet deep clean covers two toilets:

• chemical cleaning of the whole toilet, and a chemical wash of the floor
• the wall tiles, with the dirt and stains removed
• sanitising the toilet bowls
• polishing the taps, fixtures and sinks
• a check for mould and mildew

Floors

The floor clean covers one room, the living hall and the kitchen. We vacuum, clean the skirting and then go over the floor with high-pressure hot steam. It suits tiles, vinyl and other common floors.

Add-ons include more bedrooms, the toilets, a spot stain remover, and polish and wax for up to 600 square feet.

Curtains

We take your curtains down, dry clean them off-site and put them back up. Collection, delivery, dismantling and installation are free for curtains up to 3 metres high. A minimum order applies.

The standard service takes three days. Faster turnarounds cost more, and you can check one is available on WhatsApp before you book.

Disinfection

We spray your home with a hospital-grade disinfectant made for homes and commercial spaces. It's booked by home: an HDB flat of two to five bedrooms, a condo or apartment from a studio to four bedrooms, or a landed home.

How booking works

1. Open the deep cleaning booking page and pick a type.
2. Choose the details, such as the sofa size, the mattresses, extra rooms or add-ons.
3. Pick a date and time and enter your address. We cover all of Singapore, Sentosa and Tuas included.
4. Pay online. You see the full price before you pay, and a confirmation email follows.

Each type is booked for a set time, shown on the booking page:

• one hour for mattresses or a disinfection
• two hours for the kitchen appliances
• three hours for a sofa, the floors or the toilets

You can also book on WhatsApp or by phone. Book early for a weekend slot or a bigger job.

Before the team arrives

• Take pots, food and other things off the hob and counter top, and empty the oven and microwave.
• Clear everything off the sofa, and strip the beds whose mattresses we're cleaning.
• Move rugs, toys and cables off the floors we're steaming.
• Keep a power socket free near the sofa and the floors.
• Book a sofa clean in the morning if you want to sit on it that evening.
• If the sofa isn't fabric, or the curtains are taller than 3 metres, check with us before you book.
• Make sure someone can let the team in at the start.

If something isn't right

Report it within 12 hours of the clean, with photos or videos. We review it and, where the booked work wasn't done, arrange a reclean, another service, a service credit or a new time. Our service guarantee sets this out.

It doesn't cover permanent stains, old marks, rust, mould that needs specialist treatment, or damage and wear. Cancelling more than 24 hours ahead is free, and within 24 hours half the booking is charged.

Is it worth getting a sofa or mattress cleaned?

Yes, if it's stained or smells, or hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Sweat, spills and dust build up in the fabric, and dust mites thrive in Singapore's humid weather.

How long does a sofa take to dry after cleaning?

Allow four to six hours after the wet extraction. A fan or an open window helps, and it's best to wait until the fabric is dry before you sit on it.

Do I need to be home during the deep clean?

Someone needs to let the team in at the appointment time. If nobody can, the team waits up to 15 minutes before the visit may count as missed.
